"It’s all about color, pattern and texture to me. I work indoors when I have to, outdoors when I can--sometimes in oil and other times in acrylic. I choose colors that thrill me and add texture when it’s needed. I’m painting all the time either in reality or in my head. I’m not much for “rules” and like to add charcoal, graphite, crayon or collage if I can get away with it."
